Would you like to save on your food bills, and help support local growers, charities and businesses? Are you sick of poor quality produce, or over inflated prices at your local big supermarkets, or perhaps you’d like the convenience of delivery to your door without paying for that convenience? Or perhaps you’d like to buy organic fresh produce and grocery items but just can’t afford to…

Our mission is to provide excellent quality conventional and organic groceries and fresh produce to families, individuals and our community at prices lower than the big supermarkets, whilst supporting local producers, farmers and family businesses wherever possible. We have no minimums to buy, no membership fees and you can buy as much or as little as you like.

We purchase in bulk, directly from distributors, wholesalers and growers, and pass the savings on to you. We give priority to purchasing local produce and from local Western Australian businesses.

Fruit, veg, meat, bread and dairy orders are placed weekly openiong on a Tuesday and closing on Monday at 9am. Our produce is then ordered from our suppliers, sorted and packed by our volunteers, and available for pick up or delivery the following Friday.

Please refer to our Delivery Information page for full information about pick up and delivery locations and times.

We feel extremely privileged to be able to support two local Perth charities – Pregnancy Problem House and St Alban’s Soup Kitchen, with our Suspended Food Baskets.

As a member you can purchase a $5, $10 or $15 share in a Suspended Food Basket. By doing this you are helping provide fresh fruit and vegetables at cost (we make no profit from this) for those who need it the most. Shares can be purchased in our Fortnightly Fruit and Veg order.

Pregnancy Problem House offers crisis assistance and long term support for women and families in pregnancy-related distress. Most of our clients are struggling with a surprise or unsupported pregnancy or a painful pregnancy loss. Our services include counseling, mentoring and education, resources and referrals, and everything is free because of the support we receive from the community. The suspended co-op baskets will go to some of our most desperate mums and families. We are so excited to share your generosity with them.

The St Alban’s Soup Kitchen is a volunteer led outreach for homeless, disadvantaged people, families and anyone in need in the area. Every Saturday night nourishing soups (made by volunteers) and bread donated from a local bakery are provided to those who need a safe and comfortable place to enjoy a decent meal. There can be quite considerable numbers attending and the opportunity to help sustain them with such great produce is fantastic. The soup kitchen has been running for more than 2 decades and is awesome to see in action.

These causes are equally worthy and will help improve the health and well being of those who struggle the most in our local community. With your support we can help more people in our community to enjoy what we often take for granted.
